What is Professional Beef Services?Professional Beef Services (PBS) is an organization dedicated to providing information for the beef industry. Professional Beef Services is here to aid in the collection, interpretation and implementation of data used for management decisions. It is a culmination of programs geared towards easily and conveniently aiding in higher net returns to production operations - specifically stocker/starter yards and cow/calf operations. Professional Beef Services is a media for companies to conduct research on animal health products and protocols and to help companies relate information back to their client base. PBS is able to use stocker cattle in our own functioning starter yard as well as client cattle. This allows a wide array of the type of projects we are able to complete - low number highly intensive trials to high volume multiple site trials. These projects can be designed for in house information or publishable papers. The beef industry is a consumer driven business, and the beef we produce must meet or exceed consumer demands to ensure profitability. We must make informed and knowledge-based breeding and management decisions to satisfy industry needs. The amount of beef production data available to managers is increasing exponentially. Finding and utilizing this information to increase farm profitability is the true challenge of every beef producer. Professional Beef Services (PBS) is geared toward bringing you the information you need to maintain a successful beef enterprise. Professional Beef Services is committed to maximizing net returns for beef producers. We will provide cutting edge information necessary to make evidence based management decisions. PBS will help facilitate optimization of time spent on herd management through the use of data collection, management and information return services.
